In a season like no other, Matrix Motorsport team principal Jeff Alden showed tenacity and consistency to deliver a performance that secured his best result to-date by finishing runner-up in the 2021 Maximum Networks Volkswagen Racing Cup.

The only three-race meeting of the season saw Matrix Motorsport’s Jeff Alden deliver a constant performance throughout the weekend, his efforts rewarded with an impressive three-out-of-three third places in rounds five, six and seven of the Maximum Networks Volkswagen Racing Cup at Brands Hatch on 19th & 20th June.

Following his double-podium results in the first two rounds of the Maximum Networks Volkswagen Racing Cup at Silverstone in April, Jeff Alden’s fourth and third places respectively in rounds three and four at Castle Combe on 31stMay consolidated his second place in the championship standings.

The first meeting of the 2021 season saw Matrix Motorsport’s Jeff Alden score a third place in round one of this year’s new-look Maximum Networks Volkswagen Racing Cup – a result he went on to repeat later in the day in round two.
